The Sacrament of Confirmation is a crucial and deeply significant rite within the Catholic Church. Confirmation is often referred to as the "completion of baptismal grace" or the "sealing of the Spirit." While baptism initiates individuals into the Christian faith, Confirmation seals and strengthens the gifts of the Holy Spirit received at baptism

The anointing with Chrism oil during Confirmation is a symbol of the sealing of the Holy Spirit upon the individual. This seal is considered a mark of ownership by God and a sign of being set apart for a life of faith and service.

Confirmation is often seen as completing the initiation process into the Church, enabling individuals to fully participate in the Eucharist.
