Understanding the Seal of Catholic Christian Identity:
Baptism leaves an indelible mark on the soul, often referred to as the "character" of baptism. This spiritual mark signifies a permanent change in the individual, marking them as a follower of Christ.

Baptism is not merely an individual act but a communal one. Through baptism, individuals become part of the Body of Christ, which is the Church.

Baptism is seen as a sacrament of initiation and purification. Through the pouring or immersion in water, it symbolizes the washing away of original sin and the initiation into the Christian faith.
